The following projects provided technical experience with BOMs, SRR, PDR and CDR presentations as well as proficiency with CAD functions, fluid dynamics, understanding of turbulent vs laminar flows, engineer calculations & meticulous analysis.
1- Fluid Analysis of a Rear Wing/ Spoiler: (in progress): Fluid analysis on different self-made designs of rear wings for a Toyota Celica GTS, using CAD and the Ingrid Cloud website for the CFD simulations. Objective is to increase fuel efficiency by reducing drag force. This is a personal project.
Vehicle Concept (Spring 2018): Led a team of 6 people. Concept was based on a market analysis, a competitor and a costumer. My CAD design skills were a fundamental contribution to the technical side of the project. The design was classified as the most creative modern and well-made vehicle concept. The team classified me as a highly effective member under CATME online peer evaluation made by the professor.
2- 6-axis robotic arm (Spring 2018): Created the schematics, PCB layout and led a team of 9 people to design and build a robotic arm using CAD software for the mechanical components, and E.D.A. software like ISIS and ARES for the electronics schematics and PCB layout.
3- Heat Exchanger (Spring 2018): Made thermal analysis on a heat exchanger using Ansys Fluent for the CFD simulations, wall modeling & mesh sensitivity. They became 90% accurate to the calculations obtained by my peers, a team of 7 people. Design was classified by the professor as unique. It was then built and tested, obtaining final results with a 98% accuracy, compared to the calculated predictions.
4- Bike Frame (Fall 2017): Led a team of 5 people and elaborated a bike frame design using aluminum 6061 with a safety factor of 3, using CAD software and conducting a finite element analysis on the frame. Final design consisted of 50% Nastran calculations (FEA software), 35% CAD software simulations and 15% hand calculations.
5- Burst Disk (Fall 2017): Designed a prototype for a burst disk, using CAD software. It was then 3D printed for testing and improvements. The burst disk had to work within the limits of 90-110psi using schedule 40 & aluminum foil. The project was a collaboration of 5 people.

Influential musician with a disciplined behavior in the band for 7+ years. Often times helped the director by leading the band or interacting with the live audience. Also had the privilege of providing my musical and leading skills to other religious organizations.
