Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine - Since 23th Nov, 2018 – till date at Mizoram Institute of Medical Education & Research (MIMER – an autonomous institute under Government of Mizoram) and State Referral Hospital (SRH), Falkawn, Aizawl, Mizoram. Working in Present Employment:

I teach community medicine to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Act as examiner; as internal and external examiner for various universities.

I am playing instrumental role in establishing Department of Community Medicine in newly started college by -

- Making theory, visits and Practical schedule for first year students,

- Advocating for and Setting departmental museum and library.

- Establishing RHTC and UHTC in collaboration with State health system in Mizoram.

Preparing MET unit and research cell

I am also motivating and preparing many undergraduate students and faculty from various departments for research.

Creating platform for collaboration with Government and other agencies for research projects. Working in Previous Employments:

I used to teach community medicine to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

I also used to teach community medicine to Nursing Students and Physiotherapy Students.

Worked as exam expert for internal as well as university (MUHS, Nashik) exams for undergraduate MBBS exams.

Coordinated funded project in college as a Principle Investigator. I also guided many undergraduate students for funded research (e.g. ICMR, MUHS and college STS) projects and guided post graduate students and faculty from various departments for research.

Was also faculty in Research Methodology workshops held routinely and compulsory for PGs and Faculty of various Medical Colleges of MBBS, BHMS, BHMS, Nursing, physiotherapy and dental college by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.

Was also associated with AIIMS Delhi, NDMA, SPHERE India and UNFPA for various academic and training purposes. This was organized by Sphere India in collaboration with.NDMA, NHM, Bihar, Bihar SDMA, UNFPA, WCD, IAG Bihar, Health Department, Bihar and EFICOR. I shared my experience of MISP roll out in Maharashtra and stressed upon the need for developing an Executive Committee and assigning Nodal Officers at State Level after identification of Key Stakeholders for effective MISP implementation.
