• Develop system to account for financial transactions by establishing and maintaining a chart of accounts.

• Define bookkeeping policies and procedures for clients.

• Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.

• Oversee accounts payable process including check runs.

• Oversee preparation of client invoices, review accounts receivable to identify collection issues.

• Oversee recording of cash receipts and make bank deposits.

• Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank and credit card account.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts to ensure their accuracy.

• Make necessary month end closing entries.

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and other schedules as requested by clients.

• Maintain annual budget, calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to client.

• Process client payroll and ensure proper entry in general ledger.

• Manage multiple client relationships

• Be a proactive liaison with client's tax CPA, banker, attorney, etc.

• Prepare and manage payroll processes of employees.

• Calculate salaries, wages and overtime wage sheets.

• Create and run salary sheets and reports.

• Manage, maintain and update payroll related data.

• Update salary sheets and schedules.

• Answer and clarify employees on payroll related inquiries.

• Submit payroll reports and sheets on time to the finance or other related department.

• Assist administrative or finance staff in processing payrolls of new hires or terminated ones. Benefits Administration

• Provide new employees with an explanation of benefits and instruct them on enrollment and fulfillment procedures

• Administrate COBRA, LOAs, FMLA usage and other issues as required by our in-house regulations and legal requirements

• Assist employee with enrolling in medical, dental and vision insurance plans

• Inform employees of changes to the benefits structure

• Resolve employee issues with insurance providers and other benefits administrators

• Consult with employees about eligibility and other issues

• Review bi-weekly payroll deductions

Maintained a donor database of contributions from approximately 1,000 supporters.
