Professional Summary

A Civil Engineer with professional license from Republic of Philippines - Professional Regulation Commission, Works continuously in the last 12.75 out of 16.42 years of whole career here in UAE as Quantity Surveyor, wherein I had experienced the tendering up to post-contract activities which involved cost management, cost estimation, detailing of quantities & scope of works, value engineering proposal, payments and variation claims. I have installed all these achievements in the excel estimation module that can generates quotations with overall budget summary, drove to at least top 3 in tendering.

During my earliest career as Junior to Project Engineer I had managed the distribution of manpower and supervised the construction of luxury villas, interior fit out works & medium rise building renovation works. In these years also my computer skills had developed. Tools to become exposed in the preparation of technical drawings, work schedules and obsess in learning new technology.

Designed and maintained the excel format estimation module consisting of cost codes and libraries, which were categorically budgeted/priced according to their use into the multiple sheets and generated an integrated quotation with Estimated overall budget summary.

Identified the scope of tenders, re-measured the whole works and provided an internal detailed BOQ with the allocated references of every item such as the particular specifications section, drawings number, addendum and all other related correspondence.

Detailed the sketches from client, allocated cost of the materials involved together with their fixing methods and developed a proportional item rates.

Provided and sent the set of inquiries consisting the tailored BOQ, filtered drawings and specifications for the works concern to sub-contractors, suppliers, rental of equipment and labors.

Attended the projects kick-off meetings and secured all required documents such as client authorization, government authority permit and understood the final instructions of all concern parties.

Visited site conditions, identified work obstacles that the management had listed and confirmed their resolutions and allocated budgets prior to acceptance of the new offered projects.

Monitored the sub-contractors activities and helps resolved their unpredictable work scheduled due to late delivery of materials, availability of equipment, project documentation and labor shortage.

Re-drafted the plan and provided detailed sketch for the tasks that are impossible to attain according to site condition, prior to proper coordination with all related subcontractors, architects, and the client representatives.

Managed and assigned activities to multi numbers of people consisting in-house junior site engineer, foremen, skilled workers, labors, and the sub-contractors.
