Biomedical Field Service Engineer
Troubleshoot medical equipment and apply appropriate corrective and preventive maintenance measures
Responsible for handling machines like Carefusion (Infusion Pump, Syringe Pump), GE (Giraffe Incubator), Physio Control Defibrillators (Lifepack 12, Life pack 15), Nutricia Flocare (Feeding Pumps) etc.
Refer to technical drawings and schematics for installation and repairing.
Installation and demonstration of medical equipments.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of medical equipments clinically as well as technically.
Perform operators training to nursing staff and clinicians.
Maintain the documentation for medical equipments newly installed and those in AMC.
Coordination with Ministry of Health/ Departments and private sectors for issues to be sorted out.
Preparing Quotations, tenders to enquiries received from all Ministry of Health and Private Departments in the absence of the tender co-coordinator.
Updating a database every month and sending service report for the work done every week.
Routine checkups’ with the hospitals to ensure the proper working of the machines.
Managing the entire team in the absence of the Manager.
Organize Weekly/ Quarterly meetings and record minutes of the meeting and circulate to the attendees.
Keeping files updated from time to time of all Clients, Tenders, Supplier Contracts, Administrative, Hospitals etc.
Organising demonstrations on newly launched machines to the endusers.
