Work Experience:

June 2000 to Present: Senior Front- End Manager; Grocery Outlet Bargain Market/Amelia’s.

Key holder, Open & close the store, including all opening and closing procedures and paperwork. Train new cashiers on the computer system and store policies. Provide override and void approvals. Count the safe daily and get change runs together to take to the bank along with the deposits. Face store as time allows. I handle the vendor accounts where I input their invoices and credit slips into AS400 to be paid. I also close the end of the week by gathering all invoices, credits and transfers and matching them to the correct reports. I must be aware of vendor price changes always. I also do store price changes. I am in change of the Win What You Save Program, where I contact customers of their winning and I input their emails into our system. In my 18 years with this company I have worked in every department and done every job imaginable.

December 1996 to June 2000: Stay at home mother raising my twin daughters, Hunter and Kylie.

June 1995 to December 1996: Babysitter at Kidsports. I watched children while their parents exercised. I was able to bring my son with, so this was a perfect job.

Started in the Deceased account department. When I would get a letter from a lawyer asking if their client had any accounts with us, I would research the system and compose a letter back to the lawyer with the information. I then moved to Direct Deposits, manually entering scheduled deposits and transfers that did not go through correctly. I was a teller and a customer service representative before leaving to give birth. I opened and closed accounts, money orders and this is where I believe I learned the true art of customer service.
