Responsibilities: Design structural parts for A320\A321 passenger to freighter (PTF) aircraft conversion.

Due to increase weights for freighter, replace or reinforcement aircraft structures to suit new design.

Design floor structures such as crossbeams, struts, fittings and “A” brackets for all sections of aircraft.

Review and validate the design in coordination with stress team.

Draft part drawings, assembly drawings and installation drawings.

Release the design and drawings in Windchill.

Modify and design the provisional brackets which are mounted on the crossbeams and struts.

Other capabilities include design of reinforcement to frames, reinforcement to stringers.

Coordinate and support other ATA teams, stress and management for smooth work flow.

Project 2: B757 Passenger to Freighter Conversion – Engineering support to production of aircraft Period: Jul 2015 to Oct 2016

Responsibilities: Responsible to provide engineering support in the production of B757 passenger to freighter conversion.

Study the problems encountered on the aircraft which are raised by production teams through Engineering Assistance Request Number (EARN).

Study/Analyze Boeing (OEM data) and ST Aero drawings (PTF data) for the deviations raised.

Provide engineering design solutions to the encountered problem in form of Engineering Authorization (EA).

Co-ordinate with manufacturing engineering for fabrication of parts.

Study/Analyze incoming aircraft repairs and any other structural damages.

Prepare repair solutions for aircraft damages.

Repair solutions provided for Floor beams, Frames, Stringers, seat tracks and skin panel.

Guide the Production teams in damage removal and assist them to perform repairs on the aircraft.

Solve customer request forms (CRF).

Document and release the final EAs.

Project 3: Digitization of empennage components for Dornier 228 NG Tools: CATIA V5 (Aerospace sheet metal, Part Design, Generative shape design, Assembly Design) Period: Jan 2015 to Jun 2015

Work Location: TATA Advanced Systems Limited, Hyderabad Responsibilities: Legacy conversion of pdf drawings and physical mylars into 3D design using CATIA V5.

Digitization of Elevator, Rudder, Leading Edges, Vertical stabilizer, Horizontal stabilizer & Flaps for Dornier 228 new generation.

Analyze and study the physical mylars and master geometry.

Measure the dimensions on physical Mylar and transfer the same to design 3D models.

Create parts, subassemblies and installation at aircraft axis system.

Draft the design, print 1:1 plot and compare with physical Mylar for correctness.

Responsible for quality and deliverables between TCS and TASL.

Provide training and mentor engineers with RUAG standards.
