DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Always make sure the resuscitation articles are ready and in working condition with all emergency drugs.

•Close observation of the critically ill patients.

•Assisting physician for various procedures

•Preparing the patient for different diagnostic procedures and explaning to the relatives

•Taking consent from relatives for the procedures to be done.

•Giving health education to relatives of the patients

•Assists ward sister in ward management in her absence.

•Supervises students and other junior nursing personnel working with him/her

•Prepares and checks ward supplies

•Lastly, giving psychological,spiritual and social support
