Responsibilities

Accountable to provide Legal Advice and HSE support and assistance to client and company to assure implementation and continual improvement of legal and HSE management system.

Ensures that the legal documents and contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed and interpreted.

Coordinate with staff members on projects like fundraising, policies, procedures and staffs and labour welfare related issues and prevention.

Manage internal and external legal resources when required.

EHS Responsibilities:

Maintenance of all site records as per ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001

Conduct pre start-up safety meeting with contractors and its subcontractors to ensure safe work practices with zero harm and follow EHS policies.

To investigate selected accident and dangerous occurrence and suggest remedy to the site management.

HSE supervision during the civil construction work- training of workers, safety briefing, PPEs adherence, adherence of safe work practice.

Maintaining data base on all lost time injuries, medical treatment case, first aid cases, all near miss incidents, all spills and other unplanned discharges; any other event reportable to a statutory authority; summary of all remedial action and its status; summary of monitoring activity, reviews, inspections and audits.

Regular inspection & audit of the site to ensure compliance with safe working practice and safe working condition on housekeeping, safe control of operations, electrical hazard, lifting equipment’s, cranes, hydra etc.

Provide necessary instructions to work force in maintaining good housekeeping & proper Waste disposal. Assist site Engineer to maintain MSDS for the hazardous goods chemicals and train workforce so that safe and systematic way of working can be ensured at all working areas like STEEL YARD, FABRICATION YARD, and BATCHING PLANT & STORAGE AREA of the project

Help to implement of permit to work, control of work procedure.

Maintain site emergency response plan and conduct emergency drill.

Develop induction briefing pack for all personnel.

Ensuring timely maintenance of fire fighting equipment supervision.

Timely review to ensure Hazards Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA) are up to date as per job required.

Focused on to provide safe, healthy and pollution free work environment to achieve zero accidents/incidents at project.
