Personal Statement
I Dr. V.G.Ramachandran immensely benefited academically through curricular training at Jipmer, Pondicherry, after which I was initiated into rudiments of Research at a CSIR Institute, at Kolkata. My teaching career began as Demonstrator at a Premier Medical School in Delhi. Experience accrued here lead to career advancement and change of work place to a University Medical School, where I had spent entire academic life, punctuated by varied work experience, marked by rich research output. My academic quest allowed the pursuit of further intellectual enrichment through study leave culminating in the acquisition of a degree in Medical Virology from a premier WHO accredited National Institute after a tenacious tutelage, resulting in an abiding interest in Medical Virology & Immunology. As a determined and motivated individual, I can work without any supervision, alone or as part of a team. All the while improving my time and people management skills and exceeding my assigned tasks, thus adding value to the overall growth and profitability of the organization. My objective is to share the sublime intellectual satisfaction offered in profundity by the discipline of Medical Microbiology and explore the hidden vistas of this specialty which permits a purposeful journey into the meaning of “self ”
