Senior IT Operations Manager
Directed the IT Operations department with approximately 30 full-time employees supporting over 6000 employees in over 668 locations. Areas of responsibilities includes POS Help Desk, Network Support, Desktop Support, DBA of SQL and Oracle, Ecommerce support, Asset Management, Telecom, Project Management, Night Operations, Contract Negotiations, Purchasing of IT equipment, services and software, PCI standards and SOX compliance.
Designed and implemented a National Data network for over 668 locations to simplify administration and provide class of service for emerging applications (Store Portal, Polling, Credit card Authorization, Time and Attendance, Digital Signage, ELearning and other memory/network intensive applications). In the process of designing and implementing a T1/Fiber network to upgrade existing infrastructure to leverage enterprise support for new initiatives and to increase reliability. Setting up the company for VOIP and in store KIOSK as well as interactive smart phone applications.
Implemented with Oracle CRM and other software packages, refined user interface to insure user buy in and help streamline functionality.
Served as corporate contact for internal and external audit groups. Ensured the IT organization was compliant with SOX and PCI requirements. Helped develop general computing controls and migration controls to resolve audit observations.

Manage Infrastructure Upgrade Project to lay down the foundation for new enterprise applications. The projects consisted of a refresh of POS hardware, network upgrades, printer technology upgrade, desktop application upgrades, active directory, SAN's, Blades and created a 5 year technology cycle for all IT infrastructure to insure network stability. All projects were completed on time and in budget.

Managed approximately 200 AS400 units, evaluated viability during merger and acquisition growth, units that did not meet minimum standards were refurbished to good condition, wiped of all data and sold off. Units that did meet standards were evaluated to place in an office that met future growth metric.
Managed all hardware, switches, routers, PC’s, printers and other hardware to evaluate viability in environment.
