2016 - Present: AST Companies. – Director of Business Development. Sold first multi-million dollar Industrial Energy Conservation project for Virtellus Energy Solutions. Doubled client base for MCI-AST “Dedicated Workforce Solutions” and Contingent Labor of multiple disciplines. Maintained strong/steady sales flow with AST Abatement with both industrial and residential clients. Implemented GP-12 and other quality inspection processes in place at Tier 1 suppliers for major OEM manufacturers.
2015 – 2016: Industrial Control Solutions, Inc. – Director of Business Development. Met with industrial manufacturing concerns about service maintenance of their machines with respect to all types of Drives, Controls, Monitors, Screens, and more. Supported Kentucky automobile manufacturers and their suppliers at every level including steel, plastics, glass, fabric, lubricants and more. Grew client base by 35% in less than a year.
2013 – 2015: Vincenzo’s Inc. Louisville, KY. VP and Director of New Restaurant Development. Proposed new restaurant concepts for three different restaurant sites in Louisville including Lynn’s Paradise Café, Tumbleweed on the River and Henry’s Place. Hires, trains, motivates and manages a restaurant staff of over 50 employees.
2011 – 2013: Creative Energy Technologies, LLC., Louisville, KY. Founder, CEO & President of a Renewable Energy Solutions Company, including but not limited to, Solar, Wind, Batteries, HydroElectric, BioMass and Geothermal. ‘Coal Liquefaction and ‘Clean Coal’. Proposed a coal liquefaction plant for Pike Co. KY to turn coal into transportation fuel and create 120 jobs in 2014.
2010 – Present: SkyView Communications, LLC., Louisville, KY.
Founder, CEO & President of unique Aircraft Image Recording System software integration company consisting of in-house developed proprietary software, an 8 camera – satellite integrated – system for monitoring all on-board aircraft activity- in real-time – from an administrators desk on the ground. System also captures aircraft diagnostic information making black-box technology immediately obsolete.
2012 – 2014: Creative Image Technologies, LLC., Shelbyville, KY – Education & Corporate Multimedia Consultant. Corporate Sales Representative for the company to K-12 schools in KY and IN. Technologies included Smartboards, document cameras, Learn Pads, Smart Tables and collaboration furniture, others. Consistently exceeded established quotas.
2011 – 2013: Premier Hospitality Group, d/b/a The Brewery Restaurant and Bar, Louisville, KY – Co-Owner and General Manager. The Brewery Restaurant and Bar. Created Limited Partnership with 30 members for new restaurant and bar. Daily sales reconciliation. P & L accountability. Hired, trained, motivated and managed staff of 25. Sold in 2013. Sold.
2008 – 2011: Kline Business Solutions / Aloha POS, Louisville, KY – Business Development Manager. Cultivated new clients, and led all Salespeople in deals closed, 2010 and 2011. Closed most “cold calls” 2010 and 2011. Supported existing clients. Demonstrated and sold Point-of-Sale technology to the hospitality industry. Successfully earned Aloha the distinction as one of only a small number of preferred POS providers to YUM! Brands.
2010 – 2012: Bud’s Tavern, Louisville, KY – Co-Founder and Lead Project Manager. Developed the concept of the new Bud’s Tavern on Dixie Highway in southern Jefferson County. Site had been closed for years and was in severe distress. Led renovation team with kitchen design, dining room appointments, audio/video/ television installation, bathroom renovations, etc. Developed menus and trained all front and back of the house staff. Restaurants sells $35k+ per week currently. Sold my interest to open The Brewery.
2007 – 2008: MICROS Corporation, Louisville, KY – Sales Executive. Cultivated new clients, demonstrated and sold Point-of-Sale technology to the hospitality industry in a territory including Louisville and west to Paducah. Manager/Employee training to new clients was also a major portion of job description.
2002 – 2006: Pi Star Communications, LLC. Partner & Co-Founder. Co-developed a specialized navigational software called The PiMobile POD System. It is used in the transportation, Para-transit, home health care and fast food delivery industries. System combines GPS, CDMA, GPRS and Internet technologies into one user friendly device. Provides tracking information, as well as voice guided navigational instructions, and automated customer call-up. Sold interests.
1999 – 2007: Abruzzi Country Italian Cuisine, Louisville, KY – Owner. Developed “Country Italian”concept for a trattoria style restaurant in Louisville, KY. Developed menus. Daily sales reconciliation. Hired, trained, motivated and managed staff of 20.
1994 – 1996: Ramsi’s Café on the World, Louisville, KY – Owner. Developed a concept for International Cuisine restaurant in the Highlands corridor in Louisville. Developed menus with partner. P & L accountability. Hired, trained, motivated and managed staff 35 with partner. Sold interests.
1992 – 1998: Bravo’s of Louisville, Louisville, KY – Owner. Opened a second restaurant with our original Bravo Pitino concept. Upscale Italian Restaurant with tuxedo clad servers preparing dishes tableside were popular among Louisville’s performing arts crowds in downtown Louisville. Designed menu & wine list. Hired and trained kitchen & dining staff in food preparation, wine training and service training including table-side service.
1990 – 1992: Bravo Pitino, Lexington, KY – General Manager. Developed concept with owners Rick Pitino and Jodi DiRaimo. Trained front of the house staff and introduced the Lexington dining scene to tableside service which included flaming desserts and coffees, as well as Caesar Salad, Steak Tartar, Carpaccio and a host of pasta dishes.
