Projects

Worked with a group of three in FED 101. We worked together on a 3-dimensional computer design project and put it on display at the NJIT Mechanics expo. The project was for the 3-dimensional design schematic of a pencil sharpener using CREO Parametric 3.0 software.

Lab Experience: Performed many important mechanical processes in some of my lab classes such as Engineering Materials & Processes and Mechanical Lab I, II, & III: Heat Treatment, Metal Cutting Processes and Tool Geometry, Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Machining, Surface Topography, Microanalysis; Also worked in Mechanics of Materials lab and performed experiments for Tensile Strength of Materials, Torsion, Flexural Strength of Beams, Stress Transformation using Strain Rosettes, and Column Buckling.

ME 408, Mechanical Systems Design III: Collaborated with a team of six to perform a project on the mechanical design and structural, kinematic, and finite element analyses of a collapsible sailboat mast.

Robotics Club, Glen Ridge High School, NJ, 2013: Built and programmed a model robotic arm displayed for the school projects presentations program.

ME 407, Heat Transfer: Worked with a group of 5 to design a greenhouse with an efficient heat transfer and ventilation system. I helped the group to brainstorm and chose the perfect material to use in making the walls and contributed my part to the PowerPoint presentation and written report.
