BS, Mechanical Engineering, Graduation Date: August 2018, GPA: 3.324
Currently studying for Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and pursuing Professional Engineering License as well as Master’s Degree for Mechanical engineering at NJIT.
Fundamentals of Engineering Design; Engineering Materials & Processes; Thermodynamics I & II; Kinematics of Machinery; Dynamics; Mechanics of Materials; Fluid Mechanics; Intro to System Dynamics; Stress Analysis; Mechanical Lab I, II & III; Machine Design; Robotics and Programming Logic Control; Mechanical Systems Design I, II; Heat Transfer; Introduction to Computer Aided Design; Introduction to Physical Metallurgy: Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
Computer skills: Skilled and experienced with using various 3-dimensional (3D) computer aided design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, Solidworks 2017, and CREO Parametric 3.0 and 4.0.
Technical writing skills: capable of writing well-detailed reports on mechanical laboratory experiments.
Worked with a group of three in FED 101. We worked together on a 3-dimensional computer design project and put it on display at the NJIT Mechanics expo. The project was for the 3-dimensional design schematic of a pencil sharpener using CREO Parametric 3.0 software.
Lab Experience: Performed many important mechanical processes in some of my lab classes such as Engineering Materials & Processes and Mechanical Lab I, II, & III: Heat Treatment, Metal Cutting Processes and Tool Geometry, Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Machining, Surface Topography, Microanalysis; Also worked in Mechanics of Materials lab and performed experiments for Tensile Strength of Materials, Torsion, Flexural Strength of Beams, Stress Transformation using Strain Rosettes, and Column Buckling.
ME 408, Mechanical Systems Design III: Collaborated with a team of six to perform a project on the mechanical design and structural, kinematic, and finite element analyses of a collapsible sailboat mast.
Robotics Club, Glen Ridge High School, NJ, 2013: Built and programmed a model robotic arm displayed for the school projects presentations program.
ME 407, Heat Transfer: Worked with a group of 5 to design a greenhouse with an efficient heat transfer and ventilation system. I helped the group to brainstorm and chose the perfect material to use in making the walls and contributed my part to the PowerPoint presentation and written report.
