Project/Product Descriptions:

Positive Train Control (PTC) is a system designed to prevent train-to-train collisions, derailments caused by excessive speed, unauthorized train movement in work zones, and the movement of trains through switches left in the wrong position. PTC network enables real-time information sharing between trains, rail wayside devices, and the “back office” applications, regarding train movement, speed restrictions, train position and speed, and the state of signal and switch devices.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the regression, system integration and business/user acceptance testing.

Coordinate testing with automation team and DBAs to ensure proper test data is available.

Organize and ensure the continuous update of the regression-model to reflect the changes in functional requirements.

Review the requirement documents to establish the criticalities & dependencies and ensure appropriate test coverage is applied to minimize the defect reoccurrences.
