The design also included reviews and comments on the P&IDs and meter skids. Station design included area layouts and reviewing and commenting on each complete station designs. Responsibilities included RFQ’s, RFQ reviews, and purchase orders for all electrical equipment and instrumentations.

Lead detail design for a crude oil gathering station based on customer and project requirements. The power design included specification for MV MCC, MV soft starter, MV substation, and Control Building. The control design included a PLC control philosophy, I/O list, and cause and effect based on a P&ID’s. Specified and procured all instruments. Station design included station layout and conduit and cable schedule. Responsibilities included RFQ’s, RFQ reviews, and purchase orders for all electrical equipment and instrumentations.

Lead detail design for a brine booster station based on customer and project requirements. The power design included MV MCC, MV soft starter, MV substation, and Control building. The control design included a PLC control philosophy, I/O list, and cause and effect based on a P&ID’s. Specified and procured all instruments. Lead detail design for a compressor and gathering station based on customer and project requirements. The power design included specifications for LV MCC, LV generator, and control building. The Control design included a PLC control philosophy specification based on a P&ID. Station design included station layout and conduit & cable schedules. Responsibilities included RFQ’s, RFQ reviews, and purchase orders for all electrical equipment and instrumentations.

Cost analysis and detail design for a cruise ship Bunkering fuel pipeline for dockside fueling. The detailed design included heat tracing, leak detection, metering, and instrumentation for multiple dock fueling locations. Each dock had individual control systems measuring the fuel temperature, pressure, and flow for custody transfer. The design also included power distribution for local control stations and interfacing with the local electric utility company for new service installation.

Supervised the FAT test for electrical equipment to add multiple pump stations to an existing crude oil pipeline. Each pump station included two MV paralleled pumps controlled by VFD’s. FAT included MV VFD’s, MV Switchgear, LV MCC, and VFD buildings. Detail design included development for substation transformers specification. Each pump station was a grass roots project that required interfacing with local electric utility companies from east to west Texas.

Lead detail design for a crude oil booster pump station. The power design included specification development for MV VFD, MV Switchgear, MV Motor Control Centers, LV Motor Control Centers, and Substation Transformer. Interfaced with local electric utility company to provide new electrical service. Control design included a PLC control philosophy specification based on the P&ID. The control design also included cause and effect, I/O list, and instrument index.

Specified the installation of fiber optic cables for wetland areas and long directional drills.

Specified and procured instrumentation for a station project in east Texas.

Miscellaneous detail designs have included electrical load analysis, cause and effects, I/O list, and instrument indexes.
