TITLE : Fabrication and Mechanical testing of natural fibers from hybrid composite DESCRIPTION :
A fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) is a composite material consisting of a polymer matrix imbedded with high-strength fibers, such as glass, aramid and carbon. Generally, polymer can be classified into two classes, thermoplastics and thermosetting. Thermoplastic materials currently dominate, as matrices for bio-fibers; the most commonly used thermoplastics for this purpose are polypropylene (PP), polyethylene, and poly vinyl chloride (PVC); while phenolic, epoxy and polyester resins are the most commonly used thermosetting matrices. The composition of material we created, can be used in metal matrix reinforcement material. So it resembles the material matrix composite (MMC) property. Wherever MMC is applied can be replaced by the natural fabrication material. This can be used in commercial and domestic purpose. Our future scope is to change the winding angle reinforcement to make the further resources. CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
