Commissioning and functional test for GE Stream Turbine—SANC1-6+Gear Box Electric Generator, assisting GE Vendor. Commissioning competition and troubleshooting activity, start up and functional test.

Present result for Bureau Veritas expert for certification and in presence of GE field service Engineer, as Vendor of turbine. 2013, Sept – 2014, April Lead DCS Commissioning Engineer Marubeni Engineering—Calabar, River Cross State, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:

The Greenfield Power Station of Calabar are 5 GT General Electric type PG 9171 E, DLN with plant capacity of 600 MW works in open cycle with space provision for future extension to combined cycle.

Full involved in DCS, Yokogawa 3000 R3 configuration as BOP (Balance of the plant) control. Cause and Effects and Control Narrative checking.GT turbine controlled by MARK VI. To integrate both signals, by GT and BOP (balance of the plant) to control and monitored by HMI, system use 2 UOI (Unified operator interface) servers. The platform used is Cimplicity 6.10—Pack 5(by GE Fanuc for open/combined cycle of turbines).

Full involved in loop-checking and settings of all components of the system. Rectify and trouble shooting of faulty loops and instrument loop discrepancy from design parameters, using As-Built drawings. Interlock logic system functions checking. Performs fine tuning for pressure, temperature, level and flow controllers in process control, SCADA System for Switchyard.

2012, Oct – 2013, June Lead Instrument Commissioning Engineer Agip KCO— D Island Project, Kashagan Offshore, Experimental Project, Kazakhstan

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:

Kashagan Field is an offshore oil field in Kazakhstan's zone of the Caspian Sea, close to Atyrau and is considered the world's largest discovery in the last 30 years, combined with the Tengiz Field. Estimates that development of the field had cost US$ 150 bill.

Commissioning, loop checking instrumentation of F&G System from the field to Foxboro DCS system in main control room, toxic and IR Detector, Manual call buttons, sprinkler system, deluge system, CO2 System, Inergen system, PLC ABB, Allan Bradley, etc.
