Biodiesel is an alternative fuel that can solve or reduce the impact of air pollution. Biodiesel is a green renewable fuel that produces only carbon dioxide and can absorbed by plant. Using biofuels can reduce global warming and Greenhouse effect and diesel engines face many problems when pure biofuels are used, including injector, nozzle clogging and corrosion so biofuels are widely used in mixed form. MAIN PROJECT: Production of biodiesel from animal fat oil by using CaO as catalyst. Description:

Biodiesel derived from biological sources, among them lipid materials such as fats and oils. Different processes for biodiesel production using fats and oils as a feedstock yields fuels with different composition and properties. Biodiesel which is defined as the mono-alkyl esters of vegetable oils or animal fats, obtained by Trans esterifying oil or fat with an alcohol. The major reason for not using a neat vegetable oil as fuel is high viscosity which leads to operational problems but Transesterification of the oil reduces the viscosity of the oil and can reduces Environment problems.
