Experience

VP OPERATIONS COMSCORE JANUARY 2018-PRESENT

With the goal of improving product service, I assumed leadership of multiple operational teams in the US and India. Staff are responsible for preparing and validating digital and cross-platform audience data for a variety of core product lines. Processes are executed in system environments ranging from Hadoop to Greenplum. Financial penalties are imposed when problems lead to missed SLAs. To reduce the risk of failure, we leverage workflow diagrams, KPIs, and root-cause analyses to pinpoint error-prone procedures and prioritize essential software improvements. These measures have yielded an increase in the on-time delivery rate from 71% to 87% in the past twelve months.

VP PRODUCT MANAGEMENT COMSCORE DECEMBER 2014-DECEMBER 2017

After joining Comscore through a business acquisition, I spearheaded the successful development and launch of a new product suite that yields annual revenue exceeding $10MM. TV ad buyers and sellers utilize the product to analyze target audiences. Additionally, I collaborated with Engineering and Sales to increase third-party processor partnerships, opening doors to greater utilization of data assets through API access. I drove innovation of the API’s features and performance, regularly meeting and brain-storming with clients and partners. We pragmatically balanced priorities and resources to swiftly respond to time-sensitive needs.

VP DATA MANAGEMENT KANTAR MEDIA AUDIENCES (WPP) FEBRUARY 2010-NOVEMBER 2014

I was asked to join this struggling business unit to stabilize operations. The company processed data from millions of satellite and cable households to report TV ratings. My team managed product development and information quality, collaborating with software developers in the UK, Spain, and Argentina. One ground-breaking achievement was an automated, API-based system for measuring addressable TV advertising campaigns. I received the 2013 Kantar Media Innovation Momentum Award for this success.

VP RESEARCH & QUALITY KANTAR MEDIA RESEARCH (WPP) FEBRUARY 2008-JANUARY 2010

My responsibilities at Mediafax expanded to encompass Research and Quality Assurance at Kantar Media Research, a sister WPP company. We designed and conducted various syndicated national market research studies of interest to the pharmaceutical and IT industries.

INFORMATION SERVICES DIRECTOR MEDIAFAX (WPP) JUNE 1989-JANUARY 2008

As one of the initial hires, I helped transform this startup into an MRC-accredited audience measurement and market research company. Reporting to the CEO, I organized and managed major functions including Software Development, Research, Product Operations, and Quality Assurance. I personally developed and maintained key operational software written in C#, SAS, Cobol, and Fortran. Clients included local TV and newspaper media companies, ad agencies, and global advertisers.
