PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Contract Senior Cost Analyst (9/2018-3/2019)

Perform cost analysis by product which is in the budget and actual by month and YTD to determine why profit is fluctuating. Three of the largest categories are selling price changes, volume shipped and production efficiencies.

Generate purchase price variances based on standard cost for the major chemical deliveries to the plant plus tracking freight invoices to be sure they are received.

Prepare and enter most month end journal entries into J D Edwards. Developed a system to ensure all entries are accounted for and completed.

Post labor from ADP to the various departments plus the month end labor accrual.

Became heavily involved with construction in progress projects before capitalization. Monitored all charges and reported any projects going over budget.

Reconciled fixed assets to the general ledger which had not been done for close to ten years. Because of the extensive adjustments made, I was involved in the year end audit.
