. Design And Fabrication Of Solar Tracking System to Increase the Efficiency of Sun’s Energy – Jan 2017 to Mar 2017
The position of sun keeps on changing everyday, So the solar panels which are stationed in a particular place does not give maximum energy as per the requirements. Therefore a tracking system which tracks the sun was designed to achieve the maximum possible efficiency. The goal of this project was to design an automatic tracking system, with the help of an pneumatic actuator which can locate the position of the sun. The tracking system will move the solar panel so that it is positioned perpendicular to the sun for maximum energy conversion at all time.
Performance Analysis Of Heat Dissipation In Radiator Tube With Nano Coating By Using Nano Fluids-Jan 2018 to April 2018
Radiators are a type of heat exchangers used to transfer thermal energy from one medium to another for the purpose of cooling and heating. Insufficient heat dissipation can result in the overheating of engine, which leads to the breakdown of the lubricating oil, metal weakening of engine parts, and significant wear between engine parts. To minimize the stress on the engine as a result of heat generation, automotive radiators must be redesigned or the basic materials is changed to be more compact while still maintaining high level of heat transfer components. This project aims to do a comparison between ordinary radiator tube material and a new radiator tube material with the nano coating. The existing material for the radiator tube such as aluminum alloy and copper alloy is replaced by brass material nano coated with Al2O3.
