Worked as Inspection Engineer in Piston plant, M/s Escorts piston (India) Pvt Ltd from Feb. 2003 to June 2003
Worked as Apprentice trainee in structure Design group and Landing gear Design Group (Mechanical systems) in Rotary Wing and Research Centre, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited from July 2003 to July 2004 for DRUVA helicopter Design project.
Worked as Design engineer for production drawing of DHRUVA helicopter of HAL from Aug 2004 to Oct 2004 in BAEHAL.
Worked as Mechanical Design Engineer in SAFRAN Aerospace India Pvt. Ltd from Nov 2004 to Sep 2006.
I am working as a Supervisor in Production and Planning department with Hindustan Aeronautics limited (HAL) since Nov, 2006. HAL is one of India’s Navratna PSU’s under Ministry of defence and the only company in INDIA who design, develop and Manufacture Helicopters, fighter Aircrafts, transport aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Responsibilities in Organization:
Preparation of manufacturing process sheets for Detail comonets like GMC, CNC, Sheet metal, Standard Parts (fasteners).
Creation of simple detail component modeling using Catia v5 for LCA TEJAS aircraft.
Good knowledge of composite material drawing reading, manufacturing technique involved, sandwich panels for aircraft doors and covers, assembly of composite materials components, fasteners suitable for composite materials as LCA-TEJAS aircraft contains 45% of composite materials by weight and properties of composite materials.
Preparation of Manufacturing process sheets for Subassembly components and performing engineering activities in areas of Materials and process.
Study properly the Drawing and defining requirements for tools, equipment, materials, type approval, parts and process used in the manufacture and maintenance of structure and assemblies.
Thorough study and analyze to determine performance of tools, materials, parts and processes and to give same feedback to take corrective actions and preventive actions.
Taking care of raw materials involved for fabrication of detail parts, preperation of bill of materials
Study of alternate materials and getting approval from certifying authority to use

Complete responsibility of assembly process planning and assigning of products KIT of Tejas centre fuselage assembly, landing gear aft and landing gear fwd assembly, centre fuselage-rear fuselage coupling, centre fuselage-front fuselage coupling, coupled fuselage FOD.
Study of drawings in coordination with production technician regarding the problems of fasteners in inaccessible areas of aircraft and taking design concurrence for appropriate feasible fasteners.
Segregation of standard parts according to activity wise/KIT wise for centre fuselage of LCA-TEJAS aircraft and Very good knowledge of aircrafts fasteners of around more than150 verities used for LCA TEJAS aircrafts Including solid rivets, blind rivets, DIN fasteners and MLGPL etc
Study of alternate material and getting approval for same
Segregation of standard parts(class-C items)(Fasteners) for KIT wise segregation of more than 150 verities use for TEJAS aircrafts like DIN,MLGPL,NAS etc
Assist with training in process utilization and tools and support the integration of engineering design.
Rising queries to design design in co-ordination with shop floor technician for correction of drawing
Complete study of Aircraft and guide the same to technician for assembly work in shop floor
Integration team in manufacturing technology, establishing work statement in daily basis, priority wise assembly allocation in assembly shop for technicians.
Consultation with design and other stake holder for supply base of manufacturing other related issues for LCA-TEJAS project with management concurrence for every updates.
