Study the Engineering Drawing thoroughly

Analysing parts catalogue structure with respect to LOADERS, EXCAVATORS, COMPACTORS, MODEL, VARIANT, ENGINES and given input of engineering top numbers & executing ECN.

Creation & updating of parts list, BOM, exploded views & Assembly Sequence presentations for vehicle parts and assemblies using Volvo PDM tools.

Creation of illustration using Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw.

Modification of 3D assemblies with CATIA composer and wind chill.

Performing QMS activities alongside FTR & OTD.

6.VOLVO-Spare part information – Technical Publication:

A.Start Cost Project (SCP):

For all impacted aggregates (Info Header = IH) should create New TEXT BLOCK (Spare Part Parts BoM + Illustration) to implement the changes as per customer requirements. Exterior and Interior Upgrade for VTNA (Volvo trucks North America) for the variants “L4EH2, L4EH4”, some of the luxury facilities, which were not available in existing trucks, are made available with this project.

B. DCN (Design Change Notes):

Design Change Notes that release periodically as per intro week will be updated as per the changes.

Value Addition:

Idea of using form features for base pan instead of seals for the safety of coils have saved almost 900k USD for client. This idea has created work which generated income for my organisation. We got billed for 2 months because of this redesign.

Completed Start Cost Project W60-6605 of Volvo Trucks with minimal errors which saved rework cost.
