This project involves a series of phases enabling Well Point to migrate existing clients in the Well Point Claims Processing System (Proserv) to Anthem Prescription Management Claims Processing System (ProPBM) and implementation of New Clients in the ProPBM. This involves the migration of Prior Authorization data, Historical Claims data, Group/Member Eligibility data from ProServ to ProPBM system. The ProServ system manages its client data in IMS DB & small part in DB2 and the ProPBM stores data in Oracle database for different clients. Since ProPBM uses Oracle DB, Informatica serves as an Interface between DB and Mainframes.
Responsibilities
Requirement gathering, understanding the use cases.
Impact Analysis and data quality analysis, estimating the required effort.
Participating in design discussions and preparing the detailed design documents.
Extract the data from the source and transform it to the client specific format and load the transformed data to Oracle database using SAS and ETL tool Informatica Power Center.
Worked extensively on the Power Center tools such as designer, workflow manager, workflow monitor. Created mappings and executed the workflows with tasks, sessions, email components.

This project required a new data model to hold all the Decare Dental Claims information obtained from CS90 source system
and an ETL system to load the claims data into the warehouse database. The data from the source file will be landed in a landing zone table and then Decare claims business rules will be applied at the staging area and finally, the data will be loaded into the warehouse database.
Responsibilities
Development of an INFORMATICA based ETL architecture and framework.
Creates the STM (source to target mapping) which is used to prepare the ETL. Once the ETL is created, rigorous testing is done on Unit level.
Assure that INFORMATICA solutions are designed and developed in the optimal manner and in accordance with industry best practices.
Analyze functional requirements, and prepare mapping documents, assist in problem solving and trouble shooting.

Jigyasa Analytics enable their clients to adopt analytics to make better decisions in business. The client data have to undergo several modelling techniques to generate a perfect model with the suitable factors that stimulates business. This modelling process involved complex calculations which were automated using VBA for Excel.
I was responsible for the automation of several tools like Forecasting tool, Logistic Results Automation tool, SAS code execution tool and Constant Contact data tools. These automated tools were coded in VBA, tested and delivered. Also, I was involved in the support projects for data modelling using SAS and JMP software.
