General clerical duties included; Answering phones, filing, processing rental payments, typing and sending correspondence through postal service, fax and email. Took care of customer service such as taking service orders, answering any questions or requests needed from customers. Explained our program to prospective customers and produced quotes of down payments and monthly payments. If interested processed applications and approved or denied applicants based on the application information.
Took care of marketing. This entailed creating and distributing flyers and mailers to prospective customers. Did minor telemarketing to previously paid off customers or interested parties.
Sales Duties included getting the interest of prospective customers by offering knowledge of our financing program, answer any questions and guiding customers through the application process. Once an application is submitted did necessary employment, resident and referral checks. Upon credit approval, processed down payments. Once approved, then prepared Finance Contracts and sat with the Customer to explain in detail the contracts and answer any questions asked before signing the contacts.
Oversaw collections as well. When accounts were past due made attempts to contact the customer or the customer references, employer or landlord if needed, to obtain payment on accounts. If necessary prepared and sent past due notices and at worst case scenario scheduled for home visitation and possible pick up of merchandise.
