Responsible for hiring all non-exempt employees (approximately 25% of the AHA workforce) with an eye for diverse talent This includes creating the position, posting, screening, and phone interviewing across 6 states utilizing iCIMS applicant tracking system.

Partnering with hiring managers and recruiters to source and hire in a 45 day or less time to fill.

Schedule phone and face to face interviews between hiring managers and candidates.

Function as main conduit between IT for all new hire set up and onboarding.

First point of contact for any temp positions, working with temp agencies Affiliate wide across 6 states.

Prepare new employee files and process all new hire paperwork including I-9.

Provide support to a team of Recruiters and the Sr. Director.

Process all separations for offboarding with hiring manager, IT and Workday.

Create ad hoc spreadsheets and report to include weekly open hire reports utilizing Workday and MS Excel. Back up for Sr. Director of Talent in facilitating team conference calls.

Conduct background checks on all employees, temps, volunteers and interns ensuring compliance to minimize AHA risk.

Started first program to encourage employee and candidate reviews via Glassdoor and Indeed. To include but not limited to, regular outreach asking for reviews, providing instructions, Q & A, managing bi-weekly reports for positive and negative feedback for HR management to take action on providing and ensure a positive hiring and employment experience.

Responsible for all tenure anniversary letters and awards for EVP of the South West Affiliate.

Troubleshoot all candidate questions for eSkills testing, personality assessment testing and on demand videos.
