I have always enjoyed jobs and hobbies that involve hands on activities. I have a desire to help people in the best way that I know how and will always serve others to the best of my ability. MILLWORK SPECIALIST, the home depot

During my time with The Home Depot, I have had many different roles within the store. I currently work as a Millwork Specialist where I assist customers in purchasing the correct type of door or window that they are needing. I read blueprints and design windows and doors for homes which are valued to upwards of $500,000. In my current role I manage the inventory for the millwork department and make sure everything is stocked as it should be. I assist the new employees with their training and make sure that any questions that they may have are answered appropriately.

MAY 1987 – FEBRUARY 1999

MEAT MANAGER, Food City

While with Food city, I managed several different meat departments located around Knoxville, TN. Later, I was given the responsibility of managing the largest meat department in the South Eastern division. I managed upwards of 10 people at a time and I balanced and ordered the inventory for the department. I also oversaw the opening and closing of the store while supervising around 20 other employees.

While at Powell High School, my main concentration was in shop and mechanical drawing.

ACTIVITIES

Over the years, I have gained much experience in leadership and managerial roles. I have a fair amount of experience in remodeling homes and redesigning them for a more modern look. I enjoy serving the public and ensuring that my customers are well taken care of. I am always looking to expand my skills and knowledge by taking on new experiences.
