Responsibilities

Monitor all private pay accounts on the A/R aging report for 17 skilled nursing facilities to maintain within our goals. Determining when collection letters need sent, write offs need completed, adjustments and so forth. Receive the ancillaries from the 17 SNF’s also and complete the coding accurately for AP to know what account to pay from. Old ancillaries are ran through SAGE to see if previously paid and if not then ran through SNFCB. Previously, was the overseer for Skilled Nursing Facility claims for proper submission and reimbursement; research and correct any denials; contact insurance companies regarding issues with claims or remittances; post payments received to appropriate accounts; work and maintain AR Aging report to a minimum dollar amount; month end close of the facility and issuing appropriate reports to Director of Revenue; other duties as assigned.
