As Director of Software engineering: Architected and built a packet-based product for backbone network infrastructure. With selective hiring, we were able to grow a highly productive software organization that built cutting edge Network Technologies. This platform has generated over $1B in Sales and is still in production. In this role I was able to successfully adapt our development teams to use best-in breed tools and methodologies to successfully deploy and maintain our complex software stacks.
As Technology Director; Working in the CTO team, my role was to define and develop complex systems for future revenue. I worked with Standards committees and internal R&D to define and build next generation technologies for the Telecommunications, content provider and Autonomous control industry. This included adaptation of Open Source software, adoption of new development languages and toolchains for CI/CD development.
