The project was made successful with use of Arduino Uno, a microcontroller which controls the motion of three different axis. In this project, a 2D AutoCAD drawing is given as input for CAM software which converts the drawing into program of G&M code provided further to the microcontroller for carrying required operation. This project concluded as an ease for machining with increase in productivity and profit in minimum time. Industrial Productivity Improvement Project – Design of Four Cavity Casting Pattern Aug 2015 – Oct 2015

It was a project to improve productivity of foundry for an pump housing part with updating the two cavity pattern by a four cavity and reducing fettling of excess material which was successfully completed with team of four peoples making changes in pattern design and gating of cope and drag.

The combination of change in pattern and gating system helped to create a new location of metal flow for intricate pipe portion which gave easy access for trimming of extra material left from clearance between cope and drag.
