RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Maine DOT- HR Generalist/HR-Payroll System Administrator: Provided a full range of functions as they relate to business analysis and system administration in leading a large centralized payroll department and carrying out responsibility for payroll preparation/processing, HR transactions processing, benefits-records administration, or payroll systems maintenance. I also acted as a bridge between the business and IT groups, and was accountable for the technology solution that supports the business needs of our department. Assists with the design, modification and creation of business processes and/or technology enhancements used to implement the business/technology solutions. Develops and delivers standard operating processes and training documents as well as leading the training of all central and satellite office staff.
I am currently responsible for the Drug and Alcohol Program, Tracking Position Funding, Compensation Reclassification, Reporting and Surveys. Presently assigned to MFASIS (HR and Payroll Statewide System) replacement project.
State of Maine - Office of the State Controller, Payroll IS Coordinator II/Personnel Assistant. Performed a variety of Payroll duties to include but not limited to determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions, gathering payroll data for inclusion in financial statements, processed garnishments, wage assignments, child support deductions, levies, auditing of payroll deduction processing, auditing of personnel transactions and providing assistance and guidance to other state agencies. I also was responsible for researching data points and building customized management reports, verification of systems output such as registers and standard reports to insure accuracy. I worked extensively in the development and documentation of training and also trained and directed less experienced payroll staff and guided their daily assignments. I was often charged with acting as a liaison between the business and the technical teams to ensure ongoing streamlining of Payroll Systems and worked closely with our vendors as a subject matter expert and provided system requirements and was referred to as the subject matter expert and business lead for many special projects.
Access Worldwide Communication - HR Assistant. Provided administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters and assisted with payroll processing. I performed customer service functions such as answering employee requests and questions, conducting benefits enrollment for new employees, verifying and maintaining maintained employee’s personnel files. I assisted with new employee background checks and online investigations submittal. Conducted audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommended proper corrective action. I updated the HR system for employee change requests, terminations and final payouts. I have also provided assistance to management in an array of HR transactions various research projects and/or special projects

In my role as the Officer in Charge of the Legal Practice, I managed all legal transactions of the firm and our clients. I managed the creation or dissolution of corporations, augmentation of capital and acquisitions. I acted on behalf of our clients as a mediator with creditors.
