Traveling to various job sites providing IT services for Compaq’s client companies such as American Express were converting the Novell/Windows Network from Token Ring to Ethernet implementing and configuring a 2500 and 3600 Series Cisco Router and Cisco Content & Cache Engine 507 for firewall and security intrusion detection. Added three 3500 Series Cisco Catalyst Switches XL, one APC Master Power Console, and APC Step-Down Transformer to the newly installed Ethernet Network. Pitney Bowes there the task was to gauge the networks performance then upgrade forty Dell, Compaq, and IBM laptops and twelve Gateway and Hewlett Packard desktops from Windows NT to Windows XP along with reconfiguring their Servers, Lotus Notes, and the Active Directory, optimizing the networks full potential.
