PLANT STARTUP GENERAL MANAGER, North American Operations / Beaufort Manufacturing. May 2017 – August 2019.

Employee #1 brownfield. Completed full facility re-set of purchased site and initiated all infrastructure and processes to create the new North American manufacturing based operation. Successfully implemented transfer of warehouse operations and sales/customer service functions from former facilities. Established the North American Operation to further include Design, Manufacturing, Quality, EH&S, and After-market Repair & Service. Growth to more than 60 personnel and approaching $25M annual sales with 75 products ranging from several thousands of dollars to several million (>50% projected sales due to growth of the manufacturing function). Turnaround assignment. 8-17 personnel. Successfully reduced external warranty by 50% and internal scrap by 50%. QUALITY DIRECTOR, SOUTHEAST OPERATIONS. Hired as employee #3 (GM and HR preceding) for brownfield startup of major expansion to the southeast, manufacturing personnel protection structures for major agriculture, mining, construction and military heavy-duty equipment. Successfully established facilities, personnel, equipment and processes to begin manufacture of 9 part numbers for Caterpillar, 2 for VT Leeboy, 4 for JLG with further expansion imminent for another major Caterpillar product.
