Kulzer, LLC, South Bend, IN November 2018 – Present

A global subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals Group, Kulzer supplies dentists and dental technicians with an extensive product range, covering cosmetic dentistry, tooth preservation, prosthetics, periodontology and digital dentistry.

Project/Product Manager, 2018-Present

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Product Management. Responsible for managing internal projects, such as product launches and software launches. Responsible for coordinating between Product Management, Production, Quality Assurance and Regulatory groups for the Medical Device product launches, Responsible for managing Kulzer North America’s Private Label product launches. Manage miscellaneous internal projects. Selected accomplishments include:

●Our process for initiating Private Label product lines was complicated and cumbersome. I worked with the individual teams involved in the process to document and improve the process, with the goal of reducing the time from contract to delivery.

●We were launching a one-of-a-kind online Denture Design platform. I picked up the project partway through the process and coordinated the back end processes as well as the development leading to a successful launch. I also developed the reporting requirements for ongoing operation of the website.

A global subsidiary of Moody’s Corporation, Moody’s Analytics provides credit risk data, financial intelligence, analytical software and consulting, supporting financial institutions’ credit risk decisions.

Director - Business Process Improvement, 2013-2018

Reporting to Senior Director - Enterprise Risk Solutions. Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end revenue reporting for Revenue recognition. Responsible for definition and execution of regulatory controls on revenue tracking in FinancialForce. Selected accomplishments include:

●Our Time and Revenue tracking system was required to be under Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. I developed the SOX controls to provide assurance that the time and cost entered in our tracking system as reasonably accurate and complete, trained our business lines’ PMOs in adhering to those controls and maintained over 95% compliance from the onset of the controls to the end of my tenure at Moody’s Analytics.

●Upon the implementation of a new time and revenue tracking system, new cost and revenue tracking reports were required for monthly revenue recognition. I worked with our Revenue Accounting team to define the content and format of, and developed a set of reports providing data instrumental in recognizing tens of millions of dollars of revenue each month.

Director - Project Management - Implementation Services, 2003 - 2013

Reporting to Managing Director - Enterprise Risk Solutions. Managed large, complex projects involving software customization, legacy system integration and change management. Managed a global team of ten project managers, managing over $50 million worth of software customization projects. Selected accomplishments include:

●I was assigned to lead Moody’s first customization project at a major Canadian Bank, implementing our credit risk analysis software. I led the project to success, developing strong relationships with executive level decision-makers at the bank, which led to additional phases and projects totalling over $5 Million in revenue.

●As our practice grew globally, I was assigned a group of Project Managers to develop. I led a collaboration among the team to develop a project management handbook to be used in our practice. The handbook incorporated best of breed concepts from sources such as the Capability Maturity Model, Prince II, and the PMI’s Project Management Book of Knowledge.

●After implementing a time and revenue tracking system, we required a more defined scheduling process. I developed a process within my team which used the tracking system data, weekly collaborative meetings and reports to manage the assignments of over 50 consulting resources.

Manager - Implementation Services, 2001 - 2003

Reporting to Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk Solutions. Provided Software Implementation Consulting to client banks. Selected accomplishments include:

●Our client banks needed assistance and training in the implementation of our client server financial analysis software. I provided onsite training to over 30 different client banks to install and configure our software. I trained both technical and business users in all aspects of installation and configuration.

●As our client base grew, we defined a need for additional client support for our clients. I, along with my supervisor and one of our lead technical resources defined and implemented a new team to provide second tier customer support for our clients’ installations.

Crowe Chizek, South Bend, IN September 1993 – March 2001

Crowe Chizek (now Crowe Horwath) is a large public accounting, consulting, and technology firm. Originally based in the midwest, it is now an international firm.

Reporting to Group Partner, responsible for managing custom software development projects for our midwest manufacturing clients. Also responsible for the group’s achievement of CMM level II certification.

●The Systems Consulting Group determined the need to better standardize our project management processes in order to improve efficiency. I, along with another project manager developed and implemented a series of new Project Management Processes consistent with Carnegie Mellon’s Capability Maturity Model (CMM).

●The Systems Consulting Group determined the need for certification in CMM. I, along with another project manager developed and executed a series of weekly project reviews to ensure adherence to the processes we had defined. We achieved CMM Level II certification, after review by an independent consulting firm.
