Ensure required information is recorded on job card particularly when carrying out warranty work, with special attention to major unit serial number (engine, gearbox, front and rear axles and steering units).

Ensure defective parts are retained and returned to Stores or Charge hand when work is carried out.

Maintain in a serviceable condition all tools, special tools and equipment and ensure they are returned to correct storage points.

Carry out work allocated in a safe, efficient manner within a reasonable time.

Report any dangerous or unsafe equipment or conditions and work at all times to the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Ensure service department area is kept clean.

Ensure firefighting equipment is properly placed and in good order.
