This POR identified the content of the overall product which would be outsourced to contract manufacturers. Contractors represented national and international contract manufacturers with total project expenditures representing multi-million dollars per contract.

Developed Scope of Work documentation and Request for Quote (RFQ) packets for outsourced contracts.

Managed entire quote process from initial submission through awarding of the business. Developed fully landed cost models and incorporated costing information into project budgets and future sales proposals.

Conducted strategic sourcing activities (nationally and internationally) to secure key contract manufacturers with the technical and operational expertise to produce DWF’s products. Developed outsourcing model which considered selected geographic regions based upon ease of doing business, IP protection, cost incentives, taxation, and supplier capabilities. Developed fully-landed cost models for securing products from specified regions.

Sourced and conducted on-site audits of the suppliers, development of Scope of Work, Request for Quotations, contract negotiations, fully landed cost models, delivery, and quality requirements for outsourced products.
