JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation – gathering details like architectural and structural details (layout, grids, datum, etc.), checking schematics or extracting MEP specification.
Setting up levels, grids, views, browser arrangement, family arrangement, creating appropriate types and systems of services matching the project specifications.
Creating different worksets and making central file. Modeling MEP services according to coordinate priorities in systematic file structure whether it is a standalone or Centralized.
Link the architectural and structural revit model for preparing MEP model. Based on design drawing.
BIM modeling- development of zones and group for services analysis.
Setting-out MEP units (air terminals, equipment, boilers, lighting fixtures, switches, receptacles, etc.),
Creating service routes (primary-secondary air ducts, wire circuits, pipes, etc.)
Creating the different family which is necessary for the project not available in default family lists.
Coordinates of all the services and avoiding the clashes of services & Run the Interference check and make the model error free. And make free clashes through Navisworks software also.
Creating the documentation revit project file for Annotate models with labels and dimensions specify flow direction and preparing the schedules of the necessary services.
Finally placing the Plan, Sections, Details view, Schedules and Legends in the title sheet.
