OBJECTIVE
I am interested in a position of a Safety Officer. My background, training and education makes me the perfect candidate. I am an ambitious individual who hopes to further his career in HSE. My background is in Health and Safety Management and I have four years of experience working in a variety of work environments and commercial buildings. I excel at striking a balance between being cordial yet firm with people when the situation calls for it. I have knowledge of the latest security measures, threat prevention methods, safety procedures and security responses. Keen observation skills allow me to perform thorough patrols of my work area and spot potential dangers and security risks that need to be remedied. I can work well under pressure both as a team player as well as an individual. I am fluent with the use of various computing software’s. I am well spoken and communicate well with people.
On a personal level, I am a compassionate individual and have always strived to help those around me, I see this as one of my best attributes. This started from my time at university where I successfully created many support groups. Having a care for humanity is what attracts to me to positions in the safety field.
EXPERIENCE
UNITED SECURITY SERVICES DOHA 2015 – To Date
Monitoring and patrolling the company’s property and maintain a safe and secure environment by ensuring the safety of the residents and workers in the property through building safety protocols.
Monitoring and controlling access of building entrances and vehicle gates and handling the authorities in case of any situations like violence, car accidents or near by property, ambulances. Also guarding against vehicle break-ins and personal attacks.
Responding to emergencies (medical and other) by calling emergency responders such as, ambulance service, fire department or law enforcement.
Operating metal detectors and x-ray machines, as needed and monitoring alarm systems and video cameras.
Ensure sound communication with housekeeping for the required signs and necessary safety gears like lights in dark spots, slippery floor signs and other hazards. 3
Fire panel handling and fire alarm situation testing. Also ensuring smooth evacuation in case of emergencies. Coordinating fire fighting equipment inspection and maintenance schedule and over seeing the actual work as it’s done on ground.
Coordinating, over seeing contractors to the property and checking their permits
One on one handling of hotel guests and receiving their complains in form of maintenance work then writing detailed reports to management.
Having worked in ORYX GTL gas planet petrochemical companies I have sound experience in handling safety measures against potentially toxic, hazardous and flammable materials.

From the period of 2010 I got recruited in security company called tight security where I was deployed at the university called Maekerere university Business school and due to the performance and commitment I showed during all my course of work indeed also by help of my uncle in security department at the university helped me to get a chance to submit my request to enrolled in the university program of furthering education of its employees and luckily enough I got accepted and the programs offered I choose to do a diploma in Human Resources management for two year period, since I had got accepted I was discharged by the security company and I got directly employed by the university since they were educating me till in 2015 June I worked with this university.
