DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proper procedures, standards and correct testing equipment’s and test voltage and pressure are being followed in doing the leak testing, IR test and other instrument calibration activities.

Instrument installation and calibration as well as functional test of instrument conform to its data sheet.

Earth continuity test, insulation resistance test and correct circuit connections in all construction wiring.

Involve in a loop test package.

Installation and layout of cable trays, raceways, conduits, instrument stanchion and supports.

Termination and fixing of multi-core cables in junction boxes.

Layout and installation/fixing/dressing of multi-core and single pair cables.

Installation of instrument junction boxes and auxiliary terminal boxes.

Installation of field instruments based on instrument installation and hook-up details.

Calibration and re-ranging of smart transmitters/field instruments by Hart or BRAIN Terminals to reflect instrument datasheet values and ranges.

Wiring and termination of field instruments from smart transmitters & sensors (pressure, flow, level, temperature),solenoid valves and actuators, control valves, MCC relays, frequency drives, signal transducer, emergency shutdown valve and fire & gas systems.

Installation & Testing of Fiber Optic Backbone from Control Room to Potable/Firewater Tank Area Main Control Room.

Bench calibration of temperature, pressure gauges and indicators.

Loop-checking and continuity testing of instruments based on prepared loop drawing packages and schedule.

Signal testing and simulation from field instruments to the PLC/DCS in the auxiliary or main control rooms.

Checking of instrumentation support, process lines/hook up tubing, marshaling cabinet all electrical & instrumentation equipment installed on site which is coverage of inspection.

Assures that all impulse line installations are correct according to its tapping point and conforms to its service line.

Witness/Inspection for Leak Tests of Impulse Lead Piping/Tubing for Pressure, Flow, Level transmitters and Pneumatic lines.

Checking the loop folder attachments prior to loop testing.

Work with project engineers for as built drawing
