Assistive Device for Visually Impaired People- Guide Prof. K.S. Venkatesh, IIT Kanpur (May’19- July’19)

• Objective: To create sensor based device to detect objects and assist visually impaired people.

• Designed and fabricated a working prototype containing vibrating hand bands to warn a person when an obstacle is detected using Ultrasonic sensors. Wearing aids were fabricated for object and staircase detection.

• Industrial Review: Reviewed all the existing processes in the Fruit and Vegetable Industry

• Initiation: Completed literature review on Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor control system design

• Work and Result: Derived equations for reaction in CSTR and obtained solutions using Simulink

• Ongoing: Presently working on the implementation of various optimization algorithms in order to obtain predictive behavior of the system

• Objective: To create an automated dustbin for Indian household usage and public place usage

• Prototype: Designed and fabricated a working prototype using ultrasonic sensors and Arduino
