My name is Kwazi Kohli, I was born in Mount Frere, a small town in the Eastern Cape. I was raised by a single mother as the only child, but my relatives also played a vital role in my upbringing. I spent half of my life traversing from city to city and changing schools because my mother wanted me to be exposed to the urban life as she deemed it crucial for attaining knowledge and opportunities. I have had the privilege of living in four provinces, and that has helped me to understand different cultures and ethnic groups. I like to consider myself as a shape shifter ‘professionally’ because I never seize to learn and I’m forever giving room for improvement and breaking new grounds. I aspire to become a qualified and decorated artist in a few years. I have other sets of skills that include writing, painting, drawing, and photography.
