Founder, Starpower Home Entertainment Systems Inc. In 1995, Daniel Pidgeon started Starpower Home Entertainment Systems Inc.

(Starpower), a luxury brand electronics retailer and custom installation company, based in Dallas, TX. Through acquisitions and organic growth, Daniel built the collective Starpower companies into leading consumer brands of upscale, full service retailing. Daniel grew up working in a retail home furnishings business. Daniel is well known in the Consumer Electronics world having served in the highest positions across the industry. He has developed innovative and modern approaches to the tech industry, speaking frequently about serving the upscale market, and featured regularly in publications. Starpower’s excellence under Daniel has been recognized widely across the Consumer Electronics industry including awards such as Dealerscope Magazine’s “Best of the Best”, “Best Specialty Audio Video Company in America” along with many other trade and retail organization awards.

By 2015, Daniel rose to become the Chairman of the Executive Board for the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). CTA is the owner and producer of the largest trade show in the world, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES®) held each year in Las Vegas, Nevada. CES® boasts over 180,000 attendees, 4,000 exhibitors and over 2.9 million square feet of exhibit space. He continues to serve on the Executive Board of CTA and remains especially active with CTA. Daniel’s experience as Chairman of CTA impacted the organization through his ability in bringing consensus and tackling challenging issues facing the industry. His term as Chairman included board members of the world’s largest tech companies. During Daniel’s Chairmanship, he worked with government officials in Washington DC and around the world to advance the interests of CTA and the greater good of the economy.

Daniel is also a member of CTA’s Board of Industry Leaders, a member of the Dallas, Texas Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a member of Dealerscope’s “Hall of Fame”, a board member of the Anti-Defamation League

(ADL) National Consumer Technology Board and the recipient of ADL’s Torch of Liberty Award recognizing his impact on the global consumer electronics industry. In addition, Daniel is active as a board member of many high profile national and local charities.
