ATS File Generator engine which is responsible to get the business transactional data from the oracle database from different banks and generate the file based on the different bank templates. Engine is invoked from SSIS call and generates the file to the specific location for further business process.

File Reader:

ATS File Reader engine which is responsible to get the business processed files from different Banks (Debit and Credit transactions), which includes Pass and Fail transactions and update the database based on the reference IDs.

3.Ebusiness Portal and SAP Modules

The eCommerce portal will serve as a new channel for SABIC to allow customers to place an

order on ebusiness portal. It enables the customer either to create an order or by copying old order or request for quotation.

Furthermore, with the new eCommerce portal, a customer will be able to interact with sabic

sales representative during order creation process . The order created on portal will also get created in SAP system with respective status. The scope of this test case is to test various functionalities of order placement on eCommerce portal.

A Credit Approval is a workflow process designed to manage changes to counterparty/country

information (such as limits, ceiling and ratings) in a controlled manner.

5.Namswitch Industry Conversion (Standard Bank, South Africa)

NamClear currently operates on Bankserv developed software for the Namibian payment

systems. This has proved to be a challenge as this software was developed specifically for South African requirements.

In addition, the individual components of the present systems were developed separately and

were never designed or intended to integrate with each other. The consequence is that the current payment streams are difficult to maintain and, are not cost effective. This in turn limits the ability of NamClear to respond to changes in the market or to be innovative with new products and services. This has resulted in the decision that NamClear will implement a new payment system which will localise ATM and Card services within Namibia.

6.EMV Project Details (Standard Bank, South Africa)

Banks have been incurring huge losses in terms of fraudulent transaction like skimming and

transactions from Lost / Stolen Cards. To mitigate the risk of fraudulent transactions, the Card Associations have mandated all Card Issuers to issue Smart cards. Smart Cards help in reducing the risk of cards being skimmed and usage on lost / stolen cards which go a long way in customer retention and targeting new customer acquisitions.

As an Issuer, the banks have more control over what happens at the POS terminals which is

not possible in cards with Magnetic Stripe. As Acquirers the banks have lesser reliance on cashiers / sales staff with a corresponding reduction in charge-back transactions.

7.E-Banking

E-banking involves information technology based banking. Under this I.T system, the banking

services are delivered by way of a Computer-Controlled System. This system does involve direct interface with the customers. The customers do not have to visit the bank's premises.
