Objective: The execution of bund of a reservoir named Venkatadri reservoir which is a part of Palamuru Rangareddy lift irrigation project .Defines about the type of section of earthen dam and materials to be used for construction of reservoir.

The purpose of selection of the particular area to construct the reservoir. The details of the climatic conditions and water resource at Mahbubnagar district in Telangana state. Shows the step by step procedure from jungle clearance to occupation of reservoir. We can get the details of survey, classification and engineering properties of soil which are used in bund formation.
