ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide an inspection program for all scaffold structures to ensure that safety requirements are as according to the material, drawing and calculations.

• Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of incidents and or accidents belongs to the scaffolding.

• Ensures the compliance with statutory, client, standard and Company’s environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.

• Coordinates with planning department to ensure availability of scaffolds at locations where work is being planned to start to avoid any hold of work due to non-availability of scaffolds.

• Ensure that scaffold components used to construct scaffold are free from the defects and in accordance to the British standard

• To provide advice on the suitability of specialized scaffolds supplied by contracting companies with regard to the functionality of the scaffold to meet the health and safety requirements with regard to design and access in case of any critical conditions arise.

• Maintain a record of the condition of all scaffolding materials and assemblies to ensure that they are maintained correctly and/or removed from site and disposed of, if found damaged or defective.

• Ensure subcontractor Inspect the scaffold after erection/modification, inclement weather, and once every seven days.

• Assists with the Interview/Trade test/ orientation process of new employees and provide them appropriate training before mobilising on site in regard to the scaffolding.

• Perform initial inspections of all scaffolds with the contractors scaffolding specialists and tag and sign off inspection logs in accordance with the site scaffolding procedures.

• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs from the contractors and Assisting in conducting needs analysis, development and delivery of scaffolding safety topics.

• Ensure subcontractor maintaining scaffold F91 register in accordance with work at height regulation for tracking records of all scaffolds erected, dismantled, modified are inspected in an up to date.

• Regularly auditing to check all documents (Check list, Job control documents and DWS) related to scaffolding is properly maintained by sub-contractor.

• Ensure subcontractors are following daily inspection of scaffolding structures on site and update scaffold tags every seven days.
