The Employer is Ethiopia Railways Corporation (ERC), the Employer’s Representative is SYSTRA AB (consortium with MULTI D Engineering Consultancy PLC.).

More than 300 signed Subcontracts, Supply & Service Agreements and Work Orders and their addendums / amendments.

37 Claim files (particulars) to the Employer (11 months for Phase 1 and in total 30 months EoT have been achieved so far).

INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTANCY – DAMAC Towers Dubai, UAE - Project Value 300 million USD Construction Projects Claim Consultancy Professional – Contract & Claims Consultant

Determination of the claim event (around 1,000 events), finding the reasoning and related documents and facts, preparing cause & effect analysis (narrative), finding affected activities in the work programme and preparing fragnets. Running the Primavera and evaluating the results – impacted milestones and change in the time of the completion of the Work (EoT Analysis for around 400 claims).

Monthly basis, total of 10 window analyses with standalone particulars for the ones that had been submitted 2 months earlier. Start and finish (cut-off) dates were determined, fragnets of the delay events were adjusted to the dates and updated as per the cut-off date of the corresponding Window. After running the programme, the results were compared with the previous window and concurring delays were determined.

Further delays were determined and the narrative was prepared to present the analysis results for the Client / the Engineer.

In parallel with the work programme update, comparisons of cost / income and budget and determination/reporting of the causes of the differences.

Investigation of strong and weak points of the Sub – and Main contracts between Parties / Lesson learned.

Document control – incoming and outgoing correspondence categorization and translation of project / engineering documents. The updating of the documents for correspondence and translations on a weekly basis.

Preparation of Interim payment certificates (IPC) and checking of the IPCs of the subcontractors.

Provisions of new subcontracts (rent, lease, procurement, service providing, manpower, etc.) regarding the Project and the site requirements.

IT and network monitoring & determining the requirements and needs to support and provide proper communication and work environment for the office and accommodation area in the camp.

TUPRAS Residual Upgrading Project (Petrochemical Industrial Plant) in Korfez – Kocaeli / Turkiye – Project Value: 1.5 Billion USD, HAVATEK Inc. – Project Control & Contract Manager: Steel Main Pipe-rack Construction, above and underground piping, Concrete access roads, infrastructure, electrical grid installation together with CCB construction.

Work programme updates on a monthly basis and the comparisons with the planed dates.

In parallel with the schedule update, the cost / income and budget comparisons were done and the causation of the differences was determined and reported.

Claim and Contract Management for main and subcontracts – 10% cost impact claim success against the Client (Tecnicas Reunidas).

Monthly Progress Payment Certificate preparation by quantity surveying and together with the provisional sum belongs to that month. The Client was tried to be convinced about the interim payment and solid facts and documents (procurement, the site execution data and representative & authorities’ approvals) were presented.

Subcontractors’ monthly progress certificates were checked and forwarding to the finance department or rejected for further adjustment.

New subcontracts (rent, lease, procurement, service provision, workforce, etc.) were prepared regarding the project and site requirements / needs.
