Roles & Responsibilities:

Inspection of material visually free from damages, dimensional inspection.

Review drawings & revise the drawing if there is any change, and request for drawing revision to Engineering department.

Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of pipe, fittings and components. Verify proper size and schedule, ratings before fit up.

Checking Piping Direction & orientation, Ensuring correct piping components grade, Size and class for valves, Flanges, orifice, Gaskets, Stud & bolt as per Isometric.

Checking Piping material verification before fit up and root gap & overlaps after fit up.

After completion of fit up inform to quality persons for inspection.

To collect data from site for design inputs during engineering phase.

Apply the required permit for the work.

Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately, regularly participate in HSE meetings, tool box talks, daily jobsite walks.

Responsible for supervising construction activities and to maintain the highest quality standards while administering good construction safety practices with all on site activities.

Elaborates construction feasibility analysis evaluating the available material and drawings.

Provide technical answers to engineering queries raised by the construction team confirming design drawings and standard requirements.

Review and verify the method of statements prepared by the contractor.

Follow up for fabrication status for execution of the job on site.

Coordinate with the material coordinator and store in charge for the delivery of materials on time.

Communicate with client and superiors about the construction progress and work plan.

Preparation of technical query related to mechanical and piping scope and get it approved from client.
