Drove modification designs to mechanical and electrical systems in the facility. Organised and schedules implementation of a fully computerised Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Building Management System (BMS). Tested and validated operating theatres, clean rooms, safety cabinets, and laminar air flow systems. Created technical specifications and tender documents for Service Contracts and purchase of equipment and systems. FACILITIES ENGINEER (October 2002 – May 2007)

Designed, installed, and commissioned ward refurbishment, trauma centre, and new expansion facilities, including oxygen, compressed air, vacuum, A/C systems, and water supply and treatment systems. Initiated and planed on-job training for safety and technical matters to ensure a reserve of trained staff. Advised and trained trades foremen, trades supervisors, and trades staff, either employed directly or via subcontracted services. Charged with operation and maintenance of (2x1500KVA) emergency power diesel generator set.

Designed and commissioned two RO water treatment plants (600m3/day & 800m3/day) and a 38m3/day haemodialysis water treatment plant respectively.

Headed and controlled operation and maintenance of Pneumatic Tube Delivery System (PTS) and the Building Management System (BMS).

Updated a documentary system, which records current plant status and report variances to the director, U&M division.

Ensured the fully compliance of department with all the site codes and fire & safety procedures as instructed by JCIA Compliance and other world standards such as NFPA, NEC and HTM02.
