In charge of 35 associates who pick and pack customer’s orders in a 3PL e-commerce warehouse. It is my job to make sure all employees are reaching their UPH on a daily basis. Senior Warehouse Supervisor

Plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

*Maintains a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the Warehouse and Receiving mission in an effective and efficient manner. Trains all associates in the different areas of shipping which include dock, repack/LUM, zone 10 and zone 20 voice picking, parcel picking, ship, and replens.

*Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of Warehouse and Receiving Associates; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; Counsels, records, and disciplines as necessary.

*Maintains an equipment structure and level to accomplish the Warehouse and Receiving mission in a safe, effective manner. Provides appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials. Researches material handling equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment in terms of performance, safety, reliability, and cost.

*Monitors the unloading of all materials into the Receiving Department; Ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; Ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. 1

*Resolves discrepancies with Accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports while monitoring the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry.

*Supervises 20 hourly associates while making sure the inbound trailers are received, broke down and put away.

*Runs Replens and H/Z breakdowns each morning, schedules all inbound appointments, observes and trains all receiving associates, and handles any disciplinary actions.
