• Collect periodical reports from operational units and prepare corporate HSE reports for Management.

• Prepare emergency response plan for the corporate office, its periodical review and ensure adequate measures are taken to handle HSE emergency situations.

• Preparation of HSE Risk Assessment Register for the Corp. Office and its periodic review & Review of HSE Risk Assessment registers for all business units in NBTC covering, project sites, fabrication workshops, equipment division, ready mix division etc.

• Facilitate successful certification and surveillance audits from time to time to keep HSE management system compliant and effective.

• Provide HSE operational advice and support supervision as required.

• Supervise implementation of effective controls are in place in all areas under the supervision.

• Ensure that all employees in areas under supervision are aware of the HSEMS requirements pertaining to their role and work is completed in a safe manner.

• Monitor site activity and inform HSE Engineer of any potential HSE training and safety awareness that may be required to ensure that all inherent risk in activities under area of supervision.

• Ensure company HSE policy is understood and implemented at all levels and functions under supervision.

• Attend HSE internal audits as directed.

• Continuously monitor and ensure implementation of mitigation measures as per the risk assessments of work activities.

• Notify the HSE Engineer in a timely manner of all incidents and assist in the initial investigation as soon as it is safe to do so as directed.

• Deliver Weekly HSE Programme activities in areas under control and ensure that they are effective

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• Spearheaded the migration and implementation of OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001:2018 of NBTC-Kuwait operations and its subsidiaries.
